AFTER ORLANDO:  A International theatrical response to the Pulse Nightclub Shooting

MONDAY, OCTOBER 17th | 7:30pm | Tickets: $25 | Proceeds benefit the PulseofOrlando.org fund

AFTER ORLANDO theatre response includes over 70 award winning, notable and emerging playwrights from the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Africa who have written short plays specifically in response to the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016. 

Throughout the Fall of 2016, rolling staged readings will be presented by over 50 venues, universities and theatres, including: Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre & LGTB Center (NYC); Kangagirl Productions- Orlando Shakespeare Center (Orlando), Philadelphia Theatre Company & University of the Arts (Philadelphia); USC (LA): Boston Court Theatre (LA); The Road Theatre (LA); EST-LA (LA); Theatre Uppity (St. Louis); The Inge Center (Independence, KS); Brandeis University (Boston); Tufts University; Benchmark Theatre (Denver); a special marathon reading at Finborough Theatre (London), with more U.S. and international theaters and Universities being added. 

Kangagirl Productions will present a curated selection of the plays on October 17th from the collection of national and international playwrights and special contributions from Orlando-based writers as a benefit to the non-profit Pulse of Orlando fund created to provide expeditious allocation of funds for the victims, survivors and families of the Pulse tragedy.
